The Parking Hall of Fame Launches to Honor the Exceptional Professionals Who Made Lasting and Outstanding Contributions to the Parking Industry

The Parking Hall of Fame was officially launched today as an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to recognizing the exceptional professionals whose vision, leadership, and innovation have made enduring advancements to the parking industry.

The organization’s mission is to honor parking professionals who have shaped our field, inspired others, and elevated the standards of excellence in parking for generations to come. Through honoring these exceptional leaders, The Parking Hall of Fame seeks to inspire future generations of parking professionals to pursue innovation, service, and excellence in their own careers.

“For too long, many of our industry’s greatest contributors have gone unrecognized by the public-at-large,” said Kevin Uhlenhaker, Co-Founder and President. “The Parking Hall of Fame exists to change that - to honor the individuals who built this field, who quietly advanced technology, operations, and policy, and who dedicated their time and talent to making parking better for everyone.”

The Parking Hall of Fame is entirely independent and community-driven, focused on celebrating individuals based on their lasting impact, leadership, and legacy.

“The Parking Hall of Fame is yet another initiative to elevate and affirm the one-hundred-billion-dollar parking industry as the critically important profession that it is,” said Isaiah Mouw, Co-Founder and Secretary. “My hope is that this organization not only honors but also preserves the history of the titans who helped define the modern parking industry for decades to come.”

“We expect this to be a highly competitive selection process,” said Katherine Beaty, Co-Founder and Treasurer. “Our goal is to ensure that each inductee stands out for extraordinary contributions - those who truly changed the course of our industry through innovation, leadership, and dedication. The Parking Hall of Fame is about honoring excellence at the highest level.”

The inaugural Class of 2026 will be announced in Spring 2026, with the official Induction Gala to take place shortly thereafter at the Parking Industry Expo Conference in Dallas, Texas.

Nomination Guidelines and online nomination form will be released in early November 2025. The Parking Hall of Fame encourages members of the parking community to nominate exceptional professionals who meet the rigorous criteria established to uphold the Hall’s standards of excellence and enduring impact.

While the initial Parking Hall of Fame will exist as a virtual institution, the organization hopes to one day establish a permanent physical home dedicated to the preservation and celebration of parking’s greatest leaders. The Parking Hall of Fame also welcomes volunteers, sponsors, and additional board members who share its vision of honoring those who shaped the industry’s past and future.
