Parking Hall of Fame Nomination Guidelines 

    • Any individual may submit a nomination. 

    • Self-nominations are not permitted. 

    • Posthumous nominations are accepted; in these cases, a representative or next of kin should be listed as the nominee’s contact. 

    • Nominators must provide complete contact details and agree to be available for any follow-up clarification from The Hall of Fame Board of Trustees. 

  • To be considered for induction, nominees should meet the following general guidelines: 

    • A minimum of 25 years of active participation in the parking industry. In exceptional circumstances, this requirement may be waived by unanimous vote of the Board of Trustees for individuals whose contributions are of such extraordinary significance that they merit immediate consideration. 

    • Demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, or influence that has positively shaped the industry. 

    • Upheld the highest standards of professional integrity, ethics, and respect for colleagues, organizations, and the public throughout their career. 

    • Can be living or deceased and may represent any aspect of the parking industry (operations, planning, technology, design, education, public service, or advocacy).

    5. Innovation & Advancement 

    1. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional achievement in multiple categories, with at least one being Innovation & Advancement or Industry Impact. 

    2. Contributions must show sustained excellence over time, not isolated achievements. 

    3. Impact must extend beyond a single organization and region to benefit the broader parking profession. 

  • The Parking Hall of Fame holds its inductees to the highest ethical and professional standards. Nominees should reflect the following principles: 

    • Honesty and Integrity in all business and professional dealings. 

    • Respect and Fairness toward peers, employees, and the public. 

    • Commitment to the Industry through responsible leadership and ethical decision-making. 

    • No substantiated record of unethical conduct, discrimination, harassment, fraud, embezzlement, criminal activity or other conduct that would materially undermine the integrity of The Parking Hall of Fame or the profession. 

    The Board of Trustees reserves the right to verify eligibility and decline nominations that do not align with these principles.
